Lorin Browning Awarded Paul Harris Fellowship

In a ceremony at the January 30th meeting of the Rotary Club of Tryon, Lorin Browning was presented a Paul Harris Award. The award was made possible by his wife, Carol, through her generous contributions to the Rotary Foundation. The ceremony was conducted by Judy Lair.

In making the presentation, Judy noted Lorin’s many contributions in support of Rotary to include service as a volunteer at every Fab 4th Bike Tour, his assistance in preparing grant request, and providing information technology support for Rotary records. She further noted that Lorin has been an outstanding volunteer in providing assistance to other organizations to include Thermal Belt Outreach, TDDA, and Landrum High School. In addition, he has provided tax preparation assistance for area non profits.
