In October of 2019, Rotary Club of Tryon member Ken Shull was selected as the Rotary District 7670 Governor Nominee. Since that time, he has been working to support the 48 Rotary Clubs of Western North Carolina. At the same time, Ken has been preparing for something much larger. In 2021, Ken will begin his term as our Rotary District Governor.
Now that July is here, Ken is less than a year away from taking over as the Governor for Rotary District 7670. Ken’s selection is a great honor for the Rotary Club of Tryon and represents only the second time a District Governor has been selected from the Tryon club since it was chartered in 1927. The first Governor was Joseph W. Wells for Rotary year 1972-73.
The Rotary Club of Tryon is excited to see what Ken has planned for next year and we are ready to help in any way to make his year as Governor a success.
The Rotary Club of Tryon meets every Thursday. If you are interested in joining the Club, please contact President Skip Taylor at: 828-200-9259 or firstname.lastname@example.org
