During a recent Rotary Club of Tryon meeting, Andrew Morris Financial Services was recognized with the ESGR Seven Seals Award. The company received the award for its exceptional support while Army Captain Andrew Morris was recently deployed to Kuwait.
The Seven Seals Award is a Department of Defense recognition, presented as part of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Program (ESGR). The goal of the award is to recognize, “meritorious leadership and initiative in support of the men and women who serve America in the National Guard and Reserve”.
The award was arranged by Rotarian, Colonel Robert Lair (US Army -Retired).
During the same meeting, the Rotary Club of Tryon also received a Seven Seals Award for their support of the Capt. Morris’ unit during their deployment. The Rotary Club of Tryon, under the guidance of Rotarian’s Bob & Judy Lair, organized the development and delivery of Care Packages for the deployed soldiers. Rotary Club of Tryon President Skip Taylor received the award on behalf of the Club.
