Outreach Landscaping Project

Members of the Rotary Club of Tryon turned out Friday afternoon to help plant flowers and shrubs at the two new housing units at Outreach. The housing units are being readied for occupancy very soon. This was the first in a series of community service events the Rotary Club of Tryon will be sponsoring. A total of six Rotarians participated in the event, including Outreach Executive Director George Alley. Rotarians John Garguilo, Carol Browning, Fred Hartley, Alex Hagerty, and Skip Taylor joined George and two other local volunteers.

Rotarians Fred Hartley and Alex Hagerty plant shrubs that will form a hedge between the first two housing units at Outreach.
