Community Chorus – Spring Concert

The Carolina Community Chorus will hold their spring concert on May 15 in the Polk County High School auditorium. The chorus will be conducted by Brennan Szafron, organist and choirmaster of Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Tryon, and accompanied on piano by the extraordinarily talented Pam NcNeil.

Tickets to the event can be purchased from Rotary Club of Tryon members. Proceeds from the concert support the Rotary Club of Tryon Scholarship Fund for local students.

You’ll hear famous opera chorus selections such as the Triumphal Chorus from Aida, the Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin, and the Anvil Chorus from Il Trovatore. Broadway chorus selections include songs/choruses from My Fair Lady, Music Man, The Sound of Music, The King and I, Finian’s Rainbow, and more!

We look forward to seeing you at the long awaited Spring Concert. It has been two years and we can’t wait to hear them sing. For more information, follow the Carolina Community Chorus on Facebook.
