Financial Support for the Rotary Foundation

Providing “Service Above Self” is more than just a motto for Rotarians. Through local, regional, and international service projects, Rotarians are working to make the world a better place for everyone.

While providing the hands to do the work is very important, the projects sponsored by Rotary International also need financial support. When they donate to the Rotary Foundation, Rotarians know their money will be transformed into service projects that change lives both close to home and around the world. Since it was founded more than 100 years ago, the Foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects.

Members of the Rotary Club of Tryon continue to be very generous in their financial support for the Rotary Foundation. Rotary members can receive special recognition for their donations to the Rotary Foundation. Through their generous donations, many Rotary Club of Tryon members have earned these special recognitions.
