Road Cleanup Crew

On Thursday, January 17th, members of the Rotary Club of Tryon were out picking up trash and debris along the entrance to downtown Tryon on Highway 176. The activity is part of the North Carolina DOT?s ?Adopt a Highway? program and is led by Rotarian John Gargiulo. The Adopt a Highway Program is designed to keep the state?s highways clean and to bring attention to litter prevention.

Participants in the recent clean up are shown in the photo and include Jim Robards, Bill Hillhouse, Art Brown, John Gargiulo and Fred Hartley.
