Rotary Foundation Awards

The Rotary Club of Tryon Foundation annually awards over $40,000 in grants and scholarships to individuals and organizations working in service to others. During the 2018-2019 Rotary year the Foundation awarded over $19,000 in college scholarships to Polk County seniors. The Foundation also awarded over $20,000 in grants to local, national and international organizations working to improve the lives of individual here locally and around the world. Local grant recipients included: Green Blades Garden Club, Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Steps to Hope and the Polk County High School’s Rise against Hunger program.
